Great Britain at the last gasp!

Great Britain{short description of image} In one of the most sensational finishes in the long history of this illustrious tournament Great Britain, the defending Champions retained the Generali European Ladies Championship title on the very last board of their final match.

The long time leader Austria had to be content with second place and France were third. The Netherlands, Germany and Denmark will join them in Bermuda.

France 1{short description of image} France I, the holders, secured the Gold medals in the Generali European Seniors Championship.

It was a clean sweep for 'La Belle France' as their teams also finished second and third.
