EUROPEAN SENIOR PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP
The competition for European senior (i.e., over 55 years) players was established in 1989 at the initiative of EBL Senior Committee Chairman Nissan Rand , and was held in conjunction with the European Open Pairs Championship every odd-numbered year at the end of March. The European Senior Pairs Championship was discontinued as a separate event in 2001. As from 2003, it is form part of the European Open Championships . |
