The 46th European Bridge Championships comprise the Open Teams, the Women Teams and the Senior Teams series. The title holders from the last Championship held in Tenerife 2001 are:

Open Teams series ITALY, with Norberto Bocchi, Dano De Falco, Giorgio Duboin, Guido Ferraro, Lorenzo Lauria, Alfredo Versace, Maria Teresa Lavazza (npc) & Massimo Ortensi (coach)
Women Teams series ENGLAND, with Nicola Smith, Heather Dhondy, Michelle Brunner, Sally Brock, Rhona Goldenfied, Margaret Courtney, Jimmie Arthur (npc) & Alan Mould (coach)

• Registration

Registration of teams for all three series, must be made by the NBOs, to be received by 15 April 2002. It is very important that this deadline be respected as the format and schedule of play will be defined after the final number of entries becomes known. If necessary, the players' names may follow a little later, i.e. by 30 April 2002.

• Systems

Systems for the Open and Women Teams must be registered with the European Bridge League by 10 May 2002.

Each team captain is responsible for sending the convention cards by email or on a floppy disk to the EBL Systems Administrator

Participants are reminded that the EBL Dress Code applies in the Championships.
