The PROKOM 10th Open and 5th Seniors European Pairs
Championships will be held in Warsaw, Poland from 15 to 20 March
1999.
The Championships will start on Monday 15 March 1999 at
16:00 (registration of pairs will start at 11:00) and it will be concluded with
the Closing Ceremony on Saturday 20 March at 16:00.
The tournament will be played at the
Palace of Culture and Science, which
is the Warsaw Congress Centre, a magnificent centre with fine playing
conditions, in the heart of the historic city of Warsaw. |
The Open Pairs
Championship is a matchpointed event
and consists of nine sessions, three qualifying, three semifinal and three
final and two consolation sessions.
The Senior Pairs
Championship is also a matchpointed event that consists of six
sessions: three qualifying and a three session final. Eligible to participate
are players born on or before 15 March 1944.
