The Teams event was as successful as the Pairs, attracting a record entry of 101 teams.

After four rounds we have three co-leaders: two teams from France, THUILLEZ and LALANNE, and one from Italy, BONORI. All have 81 points out of a possible 100. In fourth place with 79 points are two German teams, MAYBACH and SCHNEIDER, and one from Portugal, CAPUCHO.

Many matches are to be played yet before the semi-finals, which take place on Thursday afternoon and will be shown on vugraph. If you look carefully at the rankings on page 14, you will notice that some pre- tournament favourites had a very slow start. They are happy to have eight more matches to play before the cut.
