Russia are going to take some shifting from the top
of the Open Series table as they now lead the
two teams tied for second, Poland and Greece
by a significant margin. There is then an even bigger gap
to Norway, who lead the chasing pack that contains Bulgaria,
Italy, Israel, Austria, Belgium and France. Any
team that hopes to join the race will have to play very well
from here.
In the Ladies Series,
England still leads from Austria, Spain
and France. Then come Israel, Czech Republic,
Netherlands and the pre tournament favourites, Germany,
who at last showed a glimpse of their true form when they
drew with Austria and defeated England.
In the Seniors, the holders
France 2 are on course to retain their title, as
they hold a twenty point lead over Italy I.
