The Championships will be played in three series - for 'Under 26' open, 'Under 26' girls and 'Under 21' players. All three series are for National Pairs only (i.e. both players must come from the same NBO; transnational pairs are not permitted). In all three series, the Qualifying rounds will consist of 6x10 board-sessions (2 boards per table, using a Mitchell movement). At the end of the qualifying rounds, in all series, the leading 50% of the field will qualify to the semifinal A and the remaining 50% to the semifinal B. Both semifinals will consist of 6x10 board-sessions (2 boards per table, using a Mitchell movement). At the end of the semifinals, the highest-ranked pairs from semifinal A (25 in the 'Under 26' open and 16 in the 'Under 26' girls & 'Under 21') and the highest ranked pairs from the semifinal B (5 in the 'Under 26' open and 4 in the 'Under 26' girls & 'Under 21') will qualify for the final A; the remaining pairs will play in the final B. In all series, final A will be played using the barometer system (58 boards - two per table - in 'Under 26' open and 57 - three per table - in 'Under 26' girls & 'Under 21'); in the final B, 30 boards (3x10 board sessions) will be played using a Mitchell movement. In final A, screens will be used.
