 • Format

The teams will be divided into two groups of four, which will play a complete Round-Robin of 24-board matches after which:

  • the two top teams of each group will play a 36-board K.O. semi-final match on three 12 boards sessions (1st A – V – 2nd B / 1st B – V – 2nd A).The winning teams will play a 48-board K.O. final match on four 12 boards sessions for the 1st place and the losers a 36-board K.O. play-off match on three 12 boards sessions for 3rd place;
  • the other four teams will play another two matches (of 24 and 36- boards K.O. respectively) to classify for 5th place.

The EBL Champions Cup will be awarded to the winning Team and replicas to the players. EBL gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the players of the first 3 Teams classified.
