Myriam Varenne^ Franck Multon from France first pair in the Qualification Session
  

The first session of the final of the Mixed Pairs was won by the local pair of Valérie Carcassonne and Guy Polet, pulling them up to fifth place overall behind Myriam Varenne and Franck Multon of France who continue to lead. These will be looking over their shoulders at the rapid riseof Catherine D'Ovidio and Paul Chemla who have risen to nineth from position 175 at the start of yesterday.
