LEKA NOSHT! GOOD NIGHT!

It certainly was for the players representing Bulgaria as they lead the way in both Championships.

Karaivanov and Trendafilov led the qualifiers for the final in the Open pairs, and they were followed in second place by Poland's Zbigni Rogowski and Krysztof Pikus, whilst the home challenge continued to led by the

third placed pair Leandro Burgay and Carlo Mariani.

With a remarkable twenty pairs in the final it is odds on that the title will once again fall to a pair from Poland.

Meanwhile in the Final of the Senior pairs, Ivan Tanev and Christo Drumev took the lead from Italy's Franco Baroni and Marco Ricciarelli while England's Keith Stanley and Derek Rue are third.

Pompeii Forum
The hundreds of players, officials and visitors who travelled to Pompeii yesterday were rewarded with the best weather of the week so far. It was certainly not a case of A Funny thing happened on the way to the Forum!
